Mobile - Black-throated Finch

The Black-throated Finch is an endangered bird that found fame due to the Adani coal mine threat and potential habitat loss. Since first bringing this mobile design out I have been supporting the charity Culture Before Coal which helps Wangan and Jagalingou people fight to protect their land and cultural sites. This land is also where the black-throated finch lives. 

This mobile is made from strong, laser cut, layered plywood and hand printed in multiple layers from hand cut lino plates.

From wing tip to wing tip 16.5 cm (6.5 inches)
From beak to end of tail 14 cm (5.5 inches)

Shipped flat, simply slot the pieces together and use the twine to hang your little bird.
