Silvereye In The Fennel - Original Etching


The silvereyes seem to visit me twice a year. In Spring for the feijoa blossom and then in autumn for the fennel seeds. Here I have depicted an autumn visitor but you can have this little lovely delighting you all year round upon your wall!

Each of my etchings are inked up by hand one at a time. Colour is added to the copper plate with each inking. It is printed on Hahnemuhle cotton rag paper. To watch a video of how I made the plate, inked it up and printed it in my country Victorian studio in the midst of Autumn go to -
