Original Etching - The Visitors

Whenever I hear that beautiful slow cry of a yellow-tailed black cockatoo I rush out of my studio to see if I can see them. I always feel graced with their presence and it gladdens me. They are nomadic, following the food, so they only visit when their favourite foods are available. I think in our town it's the hakea trees.

This is a small original dry point etching, inked up by hand and pulled through my printing press on Hahnemulhe cotton rag paper.
