***CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS FOR ORDERS TO THE USA***
If you’re sending to the U.S.A., or you're in the U.S. and placing an order:
-
While they are designed in Australia, some of our products are made in China. So the Chinese tariff might apply. So far, no customers have contacted us about tariffs being charged on our parcels by USPS. We don't know how long this will last but this is what we are currently noticing.
-
A 30% tariff may be applied by U.S. Customs, even if your order is under USD $800 and shipped from Australia.
-
You won't be charged at the door. Customs will send you a letter asking you to appoint a broker and pay any applicable duties or taxes.
-
If those fees aren’t paid in time, your parcel could be returned or abandoned.
Will your parcel be affected?
In short, we don't know. Customs are reportedly screening by country of manufacture, not just where it ships from. So even small orders might be flagged, depending on how strict they’re being.
We don’t collect or profit from these fees. They’re government-issued and completely out of our hands.
