I just love magpies (beautiful chortle - especially when they imitate barking dogs!). The Bridget Farmer magpie pin was a birthday gift and I'm thrilled with it. The detail and quality finish is beautiful - even better than the website photo shows - and I wear it regularly. I'm also delighted it has the artist's name on the reverse: a lovely finishing touch. In fact, I'm tempted to buy the other bird pins now too!

This is the fifth time I’ve purchased this book but the first time for my own children. It’s so adorable and we always love pointing out the different birds on our morning walks. What joy.
I love this short-listed book and intend to follow-up by purchasing each title in the range. The subject is well-chosen and the images are superb. "I am a Magpie I am a Currawong" will sit beside "The Hunt" by Narelle Oliver - one of my all time favourite picture books.
